The American Cigar Press: Publishing books that celebrate American heritage through cigars, bourbon, and craftsmanship—where tradition meets storytelling

Statera Press: Focused on civic thought, identity, and political philosophy, Statera Press publishes works that engage the ethical and institutional challenges of our time.

Meet our Author: Sebastian Saviano is a writer and independent scholar whose work explores American identity, cultural tradition, and evolving forms of power. He is the author of America’s Cigar Story and Smoke & Oak, which trace how cigars and bourbon have shaped American craftsmanship, ritual, and class. His third book, The Allegiance Paradox, reexamines U.S. citizenship in an age of dual loyalties and global fluidity. Saviano pursued doctoral studies at Georgetown University, specializing in political theory, interdisciplinary methodology, and the philosophy of social science. Though he departed the formal PhD track, that training continues to inform his intellectual work—especially in The Allegiance Paradox, which draws on legal theory, history, and moral philosophy to challenge assumptions around dual nationality. His approach blends deep disciplinary reading with boundary-crossing analysis, drawing from sociology, political philosophy, epistemology, and even quantum metaphors. This cross-disciplinary foundation allows him to connect scholarly insight with public commentary, making his work accessible to academic and general readers alike.
